Jay's Equipment Seat Covers is a USA-based manufacturer of custom-fit protective seat and control-handle covers for heavy equipment — excavators, loaders, dozers, skid steers, backhoes, forklifts, and semi-trucks. Founded by James L. Tooze in 2012 and based in Eugene, Oregon, we build every cover from water-resistant canvas or 100% waterproof vinyl, in sizes from 16″ to 35″ seat-back heights.
A solution built by someone who's done the work
In 2012, founder James L. Tooze — drawing on 49 years of hands-on heavy-equipment experience — saw firsthand how quickly factory seats and control handles broke down under daily job-site conditions: cracked vinyl, torn foam, and cab interiors degraded by UV, oil, hydraulic fluid, and constant wear. Off-the-shelf covers didn't fit and didn't hold up, so he set out to build something purpose-made for the equipment itself.
That solution became Jay's Equipment Seat Covers. Every cover is manufactured in the USA from industrial-grade fabric, engineered specifically for the conditions heavy equipment operates in — scorching heat, freezing cold, oil, grease, hydraulic fluid, and long shifts of hard use.

How to Measure for the Perfect Fit
Measure from the inside of the seat where you sit, straight up the seat back to the top of the headrest.
Measure the width of the bottom cushion.
